It’s Galway’s time in the spotlight and boy do we love being the centre of attention, with the world’s eyes we guarantee we will make one big impact. It has been 4 years since we as a county came together to put in our City of Culture bid for 2020.
Galway has and always will be known as a place filled with different cultures, amazing food, fantastic music with spontaneous and moving performances so the year 2020 is set to be the greatest year yet. It has a powerful atmosphere that you really need to experience it to understand, the streets are filled with music, the people are the friendliest bunch and we do have enjoy a good party or two.
The people of Galway have been working restlessly with the 2020 team to organise an unforgettable year. This will be the year that will have the world will be talking about that little county in the west of Ireland.
