Food on the edge takes place in Galway on Monday October 9th and Tuesday October 10th. 50 Top chefs from all over Ireland and the world will be invited to Galway to listen, discuss and debate about food, its future and its industry. Each chef is chosen for their passion and influence within the food industry.
The 2-day symposium will take place in Galway for its 3rd year with food enthusiast and chefs coming together to create a food network on a local and global level that is accessible to everyone. The focus of the 2 days is to create a best practice for food, its culture, food education, and who produces the food. It will also educate on how important it is to have the same level and quality of food whether it is for fine dining, hospitals or street food.
Chef speakers across the 2 days include Darina Allen, Ned Bell, Paul Cunningham, Quique Dacosta, Domini Kemp and many more. This year’s Food on the Edge will be hosted in the Black Box Theatre with this year’s theme being Action: Reaction.
